The Station Group Admin has the ability to edit and update your Company Dayparts.


KEY CONCEPTS:

  • Your Station Admin. can create multiple Daypart Profiles, each having dates that determine when they are active.
  • Daypart rates are set in the system as a "net" rates. If there is an Agency on a contract, rates will be grossed up by the agency commission rate that is applied on the agency record.


From within the Station Group Admin section, the "Dayparts" are managed under the Contracts section.



Creating a daypart:

  • Click on the "New Schedule Profile" button to open the daypart form where you can enter your daypart information. 
  • You can enter as many dayparts as desired for each station.  
  • Dependent upon the dates entered in the effective and expire date fields, you can set up dayparts to run for a short or long period of time.  
  • You can assign dayparts to one or more stations by selecting the station(s) within the form.  
  • You can add up to 10 ad lengths and associated rates per daypart.
  • dayparts rates should be set up as "net" rate.




The dayparts and rates set in this section are available to users when creating a detailed contract. 


When choosing a detailed schedule, dayparts/rates are viewable when adding Broadcast Schedule line items  

  1. Select a station - the available dayparts for that station will appear in the "Sel. Daypart" drop-down list. 
    1. By selecting a daypart from this preset list, the rates associated with that daypart will populate in the rate field by the length chosen.  *The same applies when entering Non-Traditional Revenue.


The Contract Details page is where you enter the details for you contract. Choosing a detailed schedule, you have the ability to assign dayparts specific to that station.



When creating a broadcast or NTR schedule segment, the preset dayparts, rates and descriptions will be available within the drop-down list.
