There are 2 steps in setting up Gmail as your Default Email Client:

  1. In Windows you will need to set Chrome as your default email client:
    • Search Default Apps
    • Select Google Chrome as your Default Email Client – using Gmail, you will do this by going through Google Chrome. Once selected, you will need to go into google chrome to set up your email.

*If you are using a different email such as outlook, you would make your email selection within this area.

2. Gmail set up process:

  • Go to Browser Settings – search – handlers – site settings – additional permissions – handlers – remove email that is there 
  • Go to mail.google.com – click on icon at the right side of URL – click allow 
  • Go to client.wavstar.com
